Collaborated on research, design, writing, and editing of a volunteer engagement manual for the National Association of Urban Debate Leagues. This project involved interviewing urban debate volunteers and staff, researching existing volunteer training materials and organizations, brainstorming with team members and the client on how to design and organize the manual, and collaborating with my team and the clients on writing and editing the manual. This project gave me a new respect for high school debate and its power to focus troubled kids towards a college career.
